J.P. Morgan Global Equity Research on Wednesday upgraded shares of Reynolds American to neutral from underweight and raised the stock's price target to $57 a share from $47 a share. Analysts said they were impressed with Reynolds' third quarter results. They also cited Pall Mall's volume momentum and enhanced cigarette profitability. J.P. Morgan also upped its 2010 price targets for Altria to $21 a share from $20 a share. Lorillard Inc.'s price target was raised to $80 a share from $76 a share. (An earlier version contained an incorrect company name for Reynolds American in the headline and text. UST Inc. no longer trades.) |
